An AI model trained on vast text to generate and understand language.
A Large Language Model (LLM) is a neural network trained on enormous amounts of text to predict and generate human-like language. LLMs such as GPT, Claude, and Gemini power modern AI assistants and answer engines, generating responses by predicting the most probable next tokens given a prompt and any retrieved context. Because they produce answers rather than lists of links, LLMs have reshaped how brands must think about search visibility.
